AWicons is the powerful tool for creation of monochrome, 16-color,
256-color and true-color icons, static and animated cursors of arbitrary sizes.
Full WindowsXP support.
With the help AWicons You can:
- apply to the ready image various effects (shadow and bevel boss; change brightness,
contrast, hue; blur the image; turn on any angle etc.);
- direct Windows to rebuild its cache of icon images;
- organize icons to ICL library;
- edit icons in executable files (exe, dll, ocx etc.);
- draw a 256-colors icon don't limiting itself in colors
(at saving the conversion occurs automatically practically
without loss of quality);
- search the icon, necessary for You, or
cursor on the disk having set a mask on names of files, sizes
and quantity of colors;
- import an icon or cursor from executable files (exe, dll,
ocx etc.) and icon libraries (icl);
- import an icon from a picture (jpg, gif, bmp) and bitmap in
windows resources (exe, dll, ocx, scr etc.), having copied any part
and having applied one of three filters (hamming, bilinear,
gaussian), that allows considerably to improve quality of the
image;
- save separate image in different formats (ico, bmp, jpg);
- create an icon using another icons (including by methods
described in section Tricks);
- draw a new icon using various tools (pencil, flood fill, blur tool etc.) and modifiers
(multi-color gradient, anti-aliasing, transparency etc.);
- special function for the programmers: AWicons allows to
edit pictures (bmp), containing image list, which use for
