This program allows you to maintain a single consolidated list of items you buy regularly, or occasionally, from any number of shops. These items can be grouped into departments and sections. Your list is presented to you in outline mode and you can expand and collapse individual departments and sections.
Shopping lists for particular shops are dynamically created from your consolidated list. Additionally, the items are presented in the order in which the departments occur as you walk through the shop. Your complete shopping list or the list for particular shops can be e-mailed as either text or as a spreadsheet.
While you are shopping Shopaholic operates in one handed mode. You can record partial and complete purchases using the hardware buttons and navigator dial on the front of your Pocket PC device. When you make a full purchase of a particular item it is automatically moved from the needed list and added to the bought list.
Once you have checked out, the information about your purchases is added to your purchase log where it can be used to analyze your spending over past months both by shop and department. This analysis can be displayed and graphed on the Pocket PC device and also e-mailed directly from the Pocket PC as text or spreadsheet CSV files.  |  |
