MD5it can verify file integrity by creating a 128 byte MD5 based checksum for file(s). Uses drag and drop (or menu selection), to select files. This utility can detect changes in any of the following fields. Length, creator, type, creation date, modification date, flags of the file (locked/read/write/etc), MD5 checksum. Files can be checksumed on a Mac, and verified on a PC, or vice versa. The data files are cross platform compatible. This release should be considered a final beta release. Fully functional in demo mode, except, changing of preferences is not allowed, and a annoying pop-up is displayed every 5 minutes. |
