Though the contextual menus in Mac OS 8/9 are pretty cool, wouldn't it be great if you could use these pop-up menus to access more than the most basic commands when working in the Finder? Now you can, with FinderPop. Install this control panel on your Mac, and a slew of new submenus will be added to the Finder's contextual menus, giving you instant access to processes, folder contents, Finder windows, volumes, the desktop, and other items. Go ahead: make a good thing better. What's New: Version 1.9.2 adds the following: New Repopup Key (defaults to ENTER -- this pops up a new contextual menu on whatever you select from a FP menu), Better Multiple User support New Lock/Unlock "FinderPoplet" Sort by Label Items whose name ends in mbar!!!! only show up in FP menus when you click in the menubar Names ending in fsel!!!! only show up if there is a Finder selection FAQ and Troubleshooting sections of The Manual significantly updated, but it's still one huge blob of text. New/Updated bits of the manual appear in this horrible colour | |
