Chirometrics is a human posture analysis application for the Chiropractic profession. It is designed to accept standard front-on and side-on images of patients such as can be taken by a megapixel digital camera. The user locates anatomical and reference landmarks on the images, and the application calculates displacements and angles between body segments, and displacements and angles from a reference vertical centre line. The application produces a report, with lines and reference points superimposed on the images to illustrate the displacements and angles. The images, point data, and patient information are saveable to a database for future reference if desired. What's New: Version 1.2.2 fixes the following: A camera calibration assessment function is now operational. See how close your images are to true Euclidean geometry. A Print Preview window now allows you to view your reports as the printer would print. Reports are now editable, and can contain formatting. Improves the Print Preview window, with an alert for overset text (i.e. text placed beyond the right margin. The application no longer requires Quicktime to view JPEGs, BMPs, or PICT files. | |
