SoundSpectrum Darkroom allows you to export G-Force and WhiteCap output as a QuickTime video file. Normally, SoundSpectrum visual plug-ins (namely, G-Force and WhiteCap) run as "real-time" music visualizations, visually reacting to music as it plays. SoundSpectrum Darkroom is a stand-alone application that imports an audio file (ex, MP3, AAC, WAV), uses a SoundSpectrum visual plug-in, and saves the video output as a QuickTime file. Because the output is QuickTime, you can easily specify frame rate, frame size, codec, quality factor, and more. The scripting services available in G-Force and WhiteCap allow you to visually script an entire music track over a timeline, allowing you to trigger visual events or effects at certain times.
