(Available when SUPER COOLSCAN 9000 ED, SUPER COOLSCAN 5000 ED, or COOLSCAN V ED are connected.)A function to start up Nikon View has been added. (Nikon View 6 must be installed for using this function.)The “CMYK” option for the color model menu has been removed and conversion to CMYK profile can now be selected when saving images in TIFF (CMYK) format.Under Mac OS X, any user including those without “Computer administrator” can use Nikon Scan 4.0. (Administrator privileges are required to install and uninstall Nikon Scan 4.0.0.)The default settings for thumbnail and preview display orientatiosn have been changed to landscape orientation.A thumbnail cache function to preserve the created thumbnail image until the film or holder is replaced has been added.“Inkjet Printer (360 dpi)”, “Dye Sublimation Printer (300 dpi)”, and “400 dpi Printer” options have been added to the Custom menu in the Crop palette.“Copy Crop Settings to Clipboard” option has been added to the Crop palette settings menu.Tool buttons have been added at the top of the image window.The files from multiple batch scans are now saved with sequentially-numbered names. |  |
