MindFortress is a multi-media knowledge base app for the Mac OS X platform. Try it out for 15 days (usage based trial, not just 15 days from first run) and we are sure you will find it indispensable. There are around 28 cards built in that vary from Financial to Notes, Pictures, offline Web Pages, Health and Body, Identification, Internet, and Phone. You can customize those cards and create your own with our template editor. Assign a 16 and 32 pixel icon to your customized cards and share them around the office. And with our Blowfish based 448 bit encryption, your information is safe from prying eyes. Other features include Categorization of your cards; a favorites bar for quick access; your choice of Icon, List, or Column views; startup password, and a full fledged search. MindFortress is written using Apple's Cocoa frameworks for Mac OS 10.3 Panther. We will be providing Jaguar support in a future revision. What's New: Version 1.3: If global data encryption is enabled, a password is now always required on startup. Moved the encryption preference from the Data pane to the Security pane, both since it makes more sense there, and so it can be made dependent on the startup password pref. When upgrading from MF 1.2 or earlier, if the startup password preference is off but the encryption one is on, the encryption pref is disabled, since that combination is no longer allowed. Reduced the widths of the splitter bars in the main and Template Editor windows. Moved the Edit button in the various windows to the bottom of the window, and added the date created, modified, and the size to the information displayed there. Implemented a system menu that lists recently viewed cards, plus an item to activate MindFortress. This menu is has a MindFortress icon, and is available in all applications. A similar menu is also available as a submenu of the Edit menu. When an item is chosen, MF is activated and that card is displayed. Added preferences to the General pane to enable or disab | |
