iMsafe iMsafe backs up data stored on any mounted OS X volume (such as your HD) to any mounted OS X volume. You can run backups from within iMsafe or schedule your backup to occur every day, on weekdays or on a specific day of the week. And you can create as many backup tasks as you like, so the possibilities are unlimited. Backups will run in the background even when another user is logged in. And when a backup occurs, it won't interfere with running applications. iMsafe can automatically connect to another Mac on the network before starting the backup. The coolest feature in iMsafe is its incremental backup option: you can choose to only backup files that have changed since the last backup, dramatically reducing backup time. iMsafe will compare both versions and will transfer only the updated part. What's New: Version 2.0b6: The inspector drawer has been redesigned to make it even cleaner and easier to use. Backup tasks can now be duplicated, eliminating redundant typing. It's now possible to run more than one task at once. iMsafe will queue the selected tasks and run them sequentially. It's also possible to schedule more than one task to occur at the same time. iMsafe will queue the scheduled tasks and run them sequentially. When auto-connecting to a remote volume, you now have the option to automatically disconnect from that volume after backup. | |
