SyncUp is a simple utility for performing sync-backups of multiple folders and files (your desktop folder, your calendars folder, your documents folder,...) to a backup folder (on your ipod, firewire harddrive or mounted afp volume for instance). SyncUp also includes a "restore" function to restore the saved state of your folders with just one click. SyncUp uses rsyncx (http://www.macosxlabs.org/rsyncx/rsyncx.html) for filesyncing. The binary is included in the application bundle. What's New: Version 1.1:owner group and permissions are no longer preserved (therefore syncing to afp or nfs volumes is now supported) |
