Drumbeat is a peer-to-peer Macintosh file-sharing program that allows you access to 150 million files. You can download not just music, but video, graphics, and text. This program allows you to enjoy the Internet as Napster only dreamt of. Drumbeat connects you to over 100 servers simultaneously, downloads files from over 400,000 users, and allows you to share your creative work with the world. Built from the ground up as a Macintosh application, Drumbeat has a simple but powerful user interface, is easy to use, even if you've never heard of an .mp3. Running on demo machines at Macworld 2002, Drumbeat displayed results of 4 Petabytes of data available for downloading (a Petabyte is 1 million gigabytes!). Drumbeat gives you Unlimited Search Results. Selecting text in the Search For: area and then dragging the text will cause Drumbeat to crash. We are working to correct this issue as quickly as possible. Some elements of the "OS X" look in the Classic version have been reverted back to standard Mac OS elements. These include the appearance of Column Headers and the TitleBar in the Classic version.
