Bosco's Screen Share allows you to share and drive desktops regardless of platform choice. Bosco's Screen Share uses a peer-to-peer, serverless protocol and leverages standards such as JPEG image compression and TCP/IP, ensuring excellent performance with minimal interruptions. Bosco's Screen Share can also work with Personal Web Sharing to publish your screen to friends' web browsers. What's New: Version 1.0b7: Fixed the driving problem where the computer being driven would hang up if the driver clicked in certain components of Bosco's Screen Share. On the driven computer, Bosco's Screen Share is hidden (Mac OS X) or minimized (Windows) if you click in any menu or window belonging to Bosco's Screen Share. Landscape Preferences window with several more options. Explore the window for details. Integrated web sharing into main window. Added a log window, with ability to save to file. Improved startup sequence to get Internet address and test router/firewall. Both can be disabled in preferences. About box and Activation windows feature improved graphics and layout. Favorites editor in Preferences window. "Invite a Friend" feature in Links menu. This sends an e-mail to your friend from our server with everything they need to get started with Bosco's Screen Share and connect to your computer. Assorted cosmetic fixes. We still anticipate final 1.0 release on October 7, 2004. This is the final beta and nearly a final candidate. We are awaiting some artwork (to replace blue squares) and documentation. |  |
