|  SpamStopper 1.5 Free Download SpamStopper is a web designer's utility that will help keep email address harvesting spambots from grabbing email addresses from your website(s). It encodes the text of your email address so that it no longer looks like an email address in your HTML, which makes all the current harvesting spambots ignore it when they scan internet pages. Basically, indexing spiders look for certain email address-identifying characters, and SpamStopper makes it so that those characters aren't displayed... it's pretty much that simple. What's New: Version 1.5: Fixed a crash that would occur when trying to make a selection from the popup menus when no data was saved. Greatly reduced overall application size. Popup menus are now disabled until there is data to be used (after a save) to avoid confusion of an empty popup menu. Fixed the issue of command-N not clearing all the fields. Fixed the remember window size and position bugs where, depending upon the preferences, the window would not remember its position. Both items now work correctly. |  |
