Ircle is a Macintosh program that lets you use IRC (Internet Relay Chat). IRC enables you to talk, in real time, to other Internet users around the world. IRC is organized in channels on a specific topic. You can also talk privately with someone. On average there are about 20,000 users and 5,000 channels on IRC worldwide. What's New: Version 3.1f3: On OS X, ircle now uses small scrollbars in the userlist, connections, faces, channel list windows log files now have the correct end of line characters on OS X. (and not a mix of carriage returns and line feeds). /dcc send 'path to file' is working on OS X now. You can now directly type the location of the file to send. For example '/DCC Send /Volumes/OSX/mach.sym' (Scripters will take advantage of that..) fixed a number of crashing problems with audio or video streams. added more support for uncommon userlevels when connecting to UnrealIRCd servers. updated server list fixed a memory related to the Channel bar, and a problem resizing the buttons there fixed a OS X problem where ircle reported it could not open a file in /Library/Application Support. ircle now sends the /MODE commands after joining a channel (to get the banlist, and/or banexceptions list) with some delay. Some people have their autoexec command join many channels, and sometimes they would get disconnected with 'Excess Flood', right after reconnecting and joining the channels when launched for the first time, ircle used to fill the 'real name' field in the Connections window with the system (login) name. It now mixes up the characters so that your real name is no longer displayed on IRC | |
