Webstractor is a unique product that encapsulates internet research projects into their own editable, printable documents. Webstractor captures every web page you visit, preserving its layout, and allows easy editing like a word processor. Webstractor is truly for everyone... no HTML or web site development is necessary. What presently can take hours, Webstractor turns into a handful of mouse clicks and a few minutes of editing. What's New: Version 1.1: Improved performance. More efficient memory use. Browser: Browsed web page entry list is now sortable, by any column. New "Number" column. Can rearrange browsed pages manually when sorting by Number column. New "Category" column. Can assign any number of arbitrary categories to captured pages. New "Captured" column indicates when each page was captured. New "Jump to Editable counterpart" arrow button next to ticked checkboxes in the Editable column. Pop-up menu to the right of all columns allows columns to be switched on and off. Removing captured browsed pages no longer automatically removes their editable counterparts. New simple "Start Editing" button. Bookmarks menu now supports using Internet Explorer or Omniweb bookmarks (in addition to Safari). New "Google Search" field with remembered search menu. New SnapBack feature similar to Safari. Reload policy control in Preferences (instead of always automatically removing older identical captures). Improved contextual menus allow for more controlled browsing, page renaming, instant document search, and Google search. Actual browsed history ( buttons and corresponding keyboard shortcuts) now mimic standard web browser behavior, and do not re-order the history list. Browsed pages may now be renamed by double-clicking their names or via the Info sheet. Renaming also affects editable counterparts, when present. Can now drag-and-drop copy browsed history entries from one document to another. Can now drag-and-drop captured entries in the list to the trash. Page loading pr | |
