Reference Miner searches the Internet to find and display reference information: PubMed, Amazon (Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Germany, Amazon Japan), and the Library of Congress. Special features include the display of book cover art (Amazon) and the ability to easily perform complex searches. Reference Miner is very useful as a standalone application. It is also the perfect companion for Sonny Software's Bookends, reference management and bibliography generation software for the Macintosh. You can save references you find by dragging and dropping them onto a Bookends 7.7 or later database window. What's New: Version 1.2.3: Fixed an incompatibility resulting from changes to the Library of Congress server (mid-August, 2004). The PubMed details pane indicates if indexing is ongoing (in-process) or finished (completed). |
