Welcome to CrystalMaker: an award-winning Mac program for building, displaying and manipulating all kinds of crystal and molecular structures. Easy and Flexible. CrystalMaker makes it easy to load structural data and generate spectacular, photo-realistic images, with the option of breathtaking "out-of-the-screen" 3D stereo (red/blue glasses included). Models can be extensively customized, with a wide range of individual atom, bond and polyhedral styles - including stylized and line-art representations. Fully-Interactive. CrystalMaker includes real-time manipulation, letting you design new structures - and even insert one structure into another. 99 undo levels plus multiple, user-defined views, encourage exploration and discovery - ideal for research and teaching. See our online tutorials for more on CrystalMaker's amazing potential for teaching science. Not Just Pretty Pictures. CrystalMaker is a full-featured scientific program, supporting major database file formats (CIF, PDB, ICSD, FDAT, SHELX, CSSR, etc.) and with the ability to display massive structures of up to 20 000 atoms. Bonds and polyhedra are automatically calculated, with the option of bond angle output and error propagation. Extensive power tools provide detailed information on local atom and bonding environments, including histogram output for disordered structures, as well as direct visualization of cluster shells and precisely-defined atom ranges. Diffaction Support. CrystalMaker provides direct access to two helper applications, CrystalDiffract and SingleCrystal. You can simulate x-ray or neutron powder diffractions for any displayed crystal, simulate electron microscope diffraction patterns, visualize reciprocal lattice - and mainpulate stereographic projections. Built for Mac OS X. CrystalMaker 6.3 for Mac OS X is an all-new application, built exclusively for Mac OS X, using the latest system technologies including Carbon Events, sheet windows, data browser, multi-lingual text editor an | |
