Chameleo© is a simple unit conversion program. Use it to convert feet to centimeters, years to seconds, fahrenheit to celsius, etc. Currently there are a total of 420 conversions in 6 different categories (Temperature, Mass, Length, Area, Volume, and Time), with many more to follow. Chameleo© is not meant to be the most thorough unit conversion program, or even the most accurate (although as far as I know, it is very accurate). Rather, it is supposed to be an elegant solution. The inspiration for creating Chameleo© came after surveying the available conversion programs for Mac OS X. The first thing I noticed was that there are many such programs, but most of them either have confusing/nonstandard interfaces or annoying shareware messages. Many of them try to offer a multitude of bells and whistles, that are just not necessary when all you want to do is convert from milligrams to pounds. Thus, Chameleo© was born.
