If you are the proud owner of the Kensington Wireless Desktop, your installation CD will include the Kensington Wireless Desktop installer instead of the MouseWorks installer. This installer not only installs MouseWorks, providing you with all of the features that MouseWorks supplies, but it also installs Kensington Keyboard, which provides you control over the special keys of your Kensington Wireless Desktop keyboard. As with MouseWorks, Kensington Keyboard is integrated into your System Preferences application. To configure Kensington Keyboard, click the System Preferences icon in the Dock (or double-click its application icon in the Applications folder), then click the Kensington Keyboard icon, which is located at the bottom of the window under? Other.? Kensington Keyboard allows you to program the PF1, PF2, and Search keys on your keyboard to launch an Internet URL, or launch an application. The remaining special keys on your keyboard are pre-defined with fairly standard behavior. Note that the audio play controls require iTunes 3.0 or later. The browser controls currently work with Internet Explorer - support for other browsers will be released in future updates. | |
