RARiX is a framework developed for Mac OS X with Objective-C and Cocoa APIs. It allow the developer/user to expand and compress archive using the powerfull RAR format by writing about 5 lines of code. RARiX offers an interface similar to StuffItExpander and DropStuff but it can read more than these tools inside a RAR archive (single file process percentage, total work percentage and single file name in process). This is the first part of a RAR suite. The next versions will include DropRAR (drag&drop RAR compressor), RARiXpander (drag&drop expander), RARiX Menu (Finder RAR Contextual Menu) and RARBrowser (similar to StuffIt Deluxe app).
