Athenaeum Light will help you manage your catalogue of books and media, enabling you to locate resources and track financials by a variety of criteria. You can store details of borrowers of these resources; control their issue; manage overdues and reserve items. Version 7 introduces storage of almost any electronic media within the catalogue (pictures, movies, sounds, .pdf documents, etc) as well as up to 4000 times larger catalogues than before. New reporting options allow administrators more financial reports; historical analysis; easier borrower management; easier transfer of information to other programs (such as spreadsheets) than earlier versions. If you have a bar code scanner, you can print your own bar codes from within the program (a bar code font is included) and speed issues and returns. Custom labels allow you to tailor the program to your school, business, church or business library. The Fast Find search facility allows you to search even large catalogues very quickly by simply entering a few words or you can narrow down your searches by explicit field and with wild cards.
