BookAssembler was created for page dummying. The application features a digital flat plan, seamless, integrated functionality for imposition printing and real-time production monitoring. BookAssembler can read the media information off the ProjectM database and generates the flat plan or work as a standalone file-system based module. Pages that are generated by the different layout modules can be combined into a single book through PDF workflow process. Most importantly BookAssembler makes CTP (Computer to Plate) a practical reality since all imposition manipulations take place in the same environment as layout functions, using a single, shared set of page-planning, folding, and book-binding information. Key Features: Interfaces directly with ProjectM database for publication information Real time page layout monitoring Makes CTP (Computer to Plate) a practical reality with imposition printing Uses PDF-based workflow to accommodate third-party apps What's New: Version 1.42: Optimized for Mac OS X 10.3.x Bug fixes | |
